When will LLHM 2026 take place?
The 2026 London Landmarks Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 12th April 2026.

When does the 2026 ballot open?

When does the 2026 ballot close?
The LLHM 2026 Ballot will close on Tuesday 17th June at 12 noon.
What is a ballot place runner?
A ballot place runner is someone who has entered the ballot and is successful in gaining a place. Some charities call these ‘Own Place Runners’. The place belongs to the individual who entered the ballot and was successful. This is different from a charity place runner, who's place has been purchased by a charity and belongs to that organisation. You can still use your ballot place to raise money for the charity of your choice.
Do I have to pay to enter the ballot?
The LLHM 2026 ballot is free to enter. You only need to pay for your place if you are successful.
How much do I have to pay if I'm successful in the ballot?
A LLHM 2026 ballot place costs £67.50 + £2.49 booking fee. Any profit from your entry fee will go to pregnancy and baby charity Tommy's, who organise the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
Tommy’s exists to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.
When will the ballot be announced?
The results of the main ballot will be announced in July.
What do I have to do if I'm successful in the Main Ballot?
If you are successful in the main ballot you need to confirm that you would like your place by paying for it by the deadline detailed in your congratulation email. If you miss this deadline you will lose your ballot place and be ineligible for the second chance ballot. We cannot make exceptions under any circumstances.
What do I do if I'm unsuccessful in the Main Ballot?
If you are unsuccessful in the main ballot you will automatically be entered into the second chance ballot for free. There are over 500 official LLHM 2026 charity partners who have places in the event who would be so grateful for your support.
Tommy's have the largest charity team and would love you to welcome you onboard. Tommy's are offering free entry onto their team with a fundraising pledge of £350. Your support would help fund lifesaving research into baby loss and provide pregnancy advice at a time of great need.
You can secure your free place with Team Tommy's now and if you are successful in the ballot you can cancel your charity place with them. It's win win!

How does the second chance ballot work?
Following the announcement of the main ballot, all unsuccessful ballot applicants will automatically be entered into a second chance ballot for free. This will allow us to re-allocate any unclaimed main ballot places to others. If you are successful in the second chance ballot you need to confirm that you would like your place by paying for it by the deadline detailed in your congratulation email. If you are unsuccessful the only way to get a place in the event now is through one of our charity partners, listed here.
Can I enter the ballot multiple times?
No, entries are limited to one per person.
I share an email address, can we enter under the same email?
No, our system only allows for one registration per email. If you share an email address with somebody else and you both wish to enter, one of you will need to set up a new email address to enter with as each person will need to enter using an individual email address.

If you are experiencing any technical issues when trying to enter the ballot, please contact as at [email protected] . Please be aware that we cannot help with any entries after the ballot closes at 12 noon on Tuesday 17th June.
CHARITY PLACES
What is a charity place runner?
Charity place runners are those who sign up to run for a charity and agree to raise a minimum sponsorship pledge. Charities buy places in LLHM and then recruit people to raise money for their cause - in return runners gain entry into the event using one of these charity places.
If you have a charity place and are unsure of the terms of conditions it is best to contact your charity directly, as every charity manages and administers their places differently. LLHM cannot make any decisions about a charity place.
I told a charity I have an 'own place' or 'ballot place' - what does this mean?
This means that you entered the ballot and were successful in getting a place and would like to use this to raise money for them. If you did not enter the ballot, or were unsuccessful in the ballot then you do not have an 'own place' or 'ballot place' and the only way to take part will be by using one of the charity places that our partners have purchased in the event.
It is very important that you do not tell a charity that you have your own place if you do not, otherwise they will think you already have a place in the event and will not allocate one to you, meaning you will not be able to take part.

The event is owned by pregnancy and baby charity, Tommy's. Tommy's created the LLHM to benefit themselves and many other good causes and the profits from the LLHM go to Tommy's who organise the race. Tommy’s are a charity that exists to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe – for everyone.
